Ok. I'm a boring person and need ideas for what to do around the dallas area.?

I live in Lewisville, so anything closer to that area would be great. I know the major things: aquarium, deep ellum, etc. Anything cheap would be great. I'm also looking for good places to eat, with good specials. If there is a good tex mex place around there, I would be super happy to find it because I miss Tamolly's. (It's the best tex mex, but its 1.5 hrs away)

Me and my wife ate at Tamolly's in Greenville 2 days ago and it was great. So my suggestion is to go to La Hacienda Ranch in Lewisville. It cost more but it is good.

Starbuck's in West Village it may be a little far but it's not more than an hour.

Okay, I also live in Lewisville.

There is Ojedas on Business 121. They have really good tex mex, good happy hour and they are soo fast, friendly and affordable.

Sugar Babies BBQ on Business 121 is also good.

There is a Pho place next to Planet Tan on 3040. If you haven't ever tried Pho I suggest you do. (It is vietnamese soup- there isn't anything "weird" in it)

Denton is North of you, there are lots of fun bars and clubs up there. Lou's is my favorite, its just a hole in the wall. Hailey's has awesome 80s nights every Thursday and Rubber Gloves Rehersal Studios has pretty good concerts. Check out Last of The Interceptors and The Demigs. I recently saw a Japanese Punk band there (Peelander-Z) I loved it!

We've just opened up a new Mall/ Theater/Restaurant place at Firewheel--Go down east Geo Bush Turnpike until you can't go any further.  It has no mall ceiling, it's just block after block of upstyle trendy shops.  There's a 16 theater, and lots of great places to eat.  The Cheesecake factory is a great place to eat.  Only order one entree, share it, and get the cheesecake for desert (you won't want to share that!).  For great Tex Mex, try luna de noche or el fenix.
