Ok I'm decorating my room?

Question

I've asked a question similar to this but I want a few more answers.I'm so lost and confused! I'm re doing my room and I just don't know how or what colors to do it! I can't make up my mind! I want too many things. I want a happy energizing , but still relaxing, fun AND sophisticated girly but not too girly, modern but cozy room. Too much to ask for I know...well does anyone have any good ideas on color scheme and decorating style? I'm in 9th grade been told I'm bubbly by some, funny by others, pretty athletic, good student so homework space is good, would like a lounging area to just chill too, and am pretty much a t-shirt and chucks kind of girl. I don't want to get sick of it fast i want it to last! I don't like the styles from pbteen too much and I've already checked out teensthemes and hgtv so please no links to those. Thanks in advance!

go for a maybe dark purple and lime green or dark turquoise.

silver would be a good accent color for pillows and stuff and give it a sophisticated look.

white furniture.

thats just a really hard transition in and of itself. i would definitely go with bold and bright colors. if you look at the urban outfitters website they have awesome stuff that appeals to all ages of people with good taste :)

I would say purple is a good color for your walls, because it is a relaxing color, fun (well, i think it is :) ) and can be very sophisticated. Its girly, but not too girly like pink. I would chose i medium violet, like poetic purple (but you can chose which you like best) because it is suttle and sophisticated, yet very pretty.

I would get white furniture or paint existing furniture white to look more classy and kind of modern.

To indulge your bubbley, fun-loving personality, i would get some vibrate color bed spread like hot pink, or keep it purple and get some funky colored pillows in teal and darker purple and lime green and hot pink. You can experiment with prints if you want like pink leopard and zebra too. Get either some bright colored curtains for the window, or maybe sheer white flowy ones for a more classic look. Or keep it purple if you want, it really depends on what you are going for.

Put some posters up of your favorite bands/movies/sports teams and other other intrests, and if you don't have any posters, i suggest checking deviant art and just printing some pics off and displaying on your wall (that's what i do XD, cause i'm too cheap to buy posters).

If you want to display pictures of friends and maybe don't have a bulletin board, maybe make a collage. If you want it to look more polished, frame it, that's what my sister did and it looks cool.

thats what my room is and i spend all my time in my room,i did like vintage furniture from antique store replaced the droor pulls and stuff with clear chiq ones,its so cute and not to girl unless you decide you want more girl go to your local craft store,i went to hobby lobby and found most of the stuff for my room,they should help you find something totallycute:]

when re-decorating home, bedroom or any other room, always try to choose colors according to feng shui. in this case you will activate powers of 5 elements (water, earth, metal, wood and fire) and support all your lucky "areas" - this will attract love, romance, wealth, money, prosperity, luck etc etc

I would do a beige color as the background and then do a chair rail with a nice bright color under the rail.  I would buy a nice bright comforter to match the bright color.  Then go crazy with accessories.

I would keep the furniture netural so it will still be relaxing and very versital in case you want to change out the comforter and accessories.
