I'm on a fixed income I know the new taxes whether direct or indirect is going to kill me, if GW doesn't.I've already updated my home with energy efficient appliance's a 17 seer heat pump, and those new light bulbs that don't last very long. This all came out of my life savings very little of it is left.No incentives from the government that really made a difference. As a matter of fact I can't even get in touch with my congressman.I do plant a garden and drive very little. But I've decided the best thing to do is buy as many carbon credits that I can and maybe put them in the cellar like I did with water for the Y2K scare. We got rid of our pets because there are just to many animals that contribute nothing to the environment. And we did have this one dog that far ted a lot.

But I'm a American and I believe our country would never steer us wrong no matter what. The rest of the world loves us also I can feel it.

  1. Oh Nos!!! They got to you. How? They only use the same websites over and over again. So how could you have allowed yourself to be brainwashed like this. And your puppy? How, oh how could you have.... I can't even think of it. If I would have known you were on the fence I would have worked harder to keep you from going over it. Please tell me it isn't so.

  2. Go vegan, you really don't need to eat those delicious animals. Maybe you could sell you enviro-friendly house and move in with a tribe of Aborigines in Australia. Trade your car for a bike. I'm so glad you did this, think of all the polar bears and ice caps you will be saving.

  3. Thanks for the laugh Pappy.  Don't forget to stop eating beans - the major cause of  GW on the planet.

  4. seriously  relax, don't waste you time or your well earnd money.  Being an american dosen't have anything to do with being right or wrong.  Global warming is a global problem weather you believe it is true or not. As a global problem it will affects us all.  The world is changing as it should, have we sped up the process?  Maybe.

That dosen't change what we do about it no matter where you live.  And what do you do about it?  You pitch in with what you are comfortable with, energy efficient appliances, driving , less, recycling more, eating more locally grown foods, And all that jazz.

But best of all, anything you do to prevent GW saves you money.

  5. nice to think..hope all in usa think as you....

    all the best...

  6. Shave your mustache, eat a ketchup sandwich, watch reruns of Al Sharpton eating a corn dog with chili
