Ok..I am trying to rearrange my living room..but have no sense of color lol..

Question

I have a light brown rug (taupe or cocoa) and beige couches...and off white walls...I have a large window im trying to find curtains or blinds for..but what color? im open to changing the wall color as well but I cant change the couches or the carpet...and im open to adding a color of accents throughout the living room..ok sooo please help :)

with beige or light brown curtains, not blinds they look tacky [well i think] anything that matches..or u can throw in some red accents and get light red curtains..either one

Since you have light colors on ur furniture n flooring i recommend a medium shade color on the walls. The white painting on the walls need to change to maybe a caramel chocolate color. If u dont like the caramel dark color then try a pistaccio color.

If you're really bad at picking colors look through magazines or home catalogs or go to Lowes and pick up pictures of color schemes that are with the paint swatches. pick ones that have similar colored furniture to you that you like. In other words, use a professionals color sense that you like too.

I'd like to have my living room like you've just described :)

i'd actually like to be an interior designer, and i think it would be nice if you you all your walls a creamy colour and have one wall a chocolate brown :) or 2 walls. one of my friends has it like that and it's looks gorgeous
