2/9(x-6/7) = (1/63x+40/63) Please help

  2. I will assume you are solving for x, so:

    2/9(x-6/7)     = (1/63x+40/63)

    (2/9x)-(12/63)= (1/63x)+(40/63)

    2/9x             = (1/63x)+(52/63)

    14/63x         = (1/63x)+(52/63)

    13/63x         = 52/63

    divide each side by (13/63)

    x                 = 3276/819

    and simplify

    x                 = 364/91

    x                 = 4
