  1. That makes no sense whatsoever, I never read it but that sounds ridiculous sperms are marked with XX or XY; girl, boy which ever one is concieved is all chance. It's like putting 5 red marbles and 5 blue ones in a bag how can you increase the chance of picking the red? You can't it is a 50/50 chance.

  2. someone said around 14 or 15 days after your period. not sure if thats true or not. i dont know how to better your chances either. sowie

  3. The whole timing thing regarding conceiving a boy or girl is Urban legend big time!!! There is also no such thing as to have s*x in a certain position that will make you conceive a boy versus a girl.

The deciding factor is the males sperm, if the spermatozoa caries an X chromosome you are going to have a girl, if the sperm caries a Y chromosome you are going to have a boy.

In terms of best possible way to determine your ovulation time is to start a calender of your cycle. The first day of your menstrual cycle will be the first day of your new cycle. Most every woman has a 28 day cycle, so if you monitor your cycle for a couple month you will be able to determine your ovulation day based on the middle point in your cycle.

So basically around the 14th day of your cycle would be your ovulation. Most women will be fertile 36- 48 hours following ovulation.
