Ok I nned to know hiw the tone word "sympathetic" is different from "compassionate"..?

...i already know the similaritites but i have problem with the difference cause they're so alike..and there is a difference...plz help..

sympathetic- you agree and you feel for them, but compassionate- you almost want to take action you feel for them so much... sorry thats the best i can explain it. ones feeling stronger than the other, and more willing to take action.

compassion means u feel strongly towards something and sympathetic means u understand how someone feels after something.

you can feel compassion for someone's situation but you can sympathize if you have experienced it on some level....
