Ok I probably know the answer to this one myself but if anyone can think of a way round it, please help.?

I am pet sitting for my parents whilst they are away for the weekend and I'd like to spend the day at mine with my boyfriend who can only visit tomorrow. How can I attend to the cat and dog at the same time as doing my own thing? He'll no doubt stay until late on. No cat flap.

Surely your dog and cat don't need 24/7 attention!! As long as they've been fed and let outside for a while, then you can get on with spending time with your boyfriend.

you can buy or lend a food container that opens at certain times to feed them so the food doesnt go dry or.... you can leave toys around the house....?

Just both go to your parents house. Just as you probably already planned to!! You aren't stupid. You aren't a couple of giggly teenagers.  So you will both be respectful of your parents house.  And you can see to the animals too.  The cat will probably sleep most of the day.  And you could take the dog for a walk and spend time together that way.  It will be nice.

i didnt know dogs and cats needed CONSTANT attention.

im sure you could easily have your boyfriend over and still care for your pets

You could either bring the pets to yours for the day, or bring your boyfriend to your parents for the day.

Your parents probobaly won't know he's there.
