Ok Im beggining to read a book called Love Medicine by Louise Erdich...?

...I heard its hard and confusing..any pointers/tips/suggestions/help while Im reading the book? I heard the time period switch and that theres a LONG family tree..any help??

It is very confusing - it switches between the stories of different characters lives, all of which twist into the others.

My biggest advice would be to read it multiple times, because you'll catch something new each time. Check the family tree out for reference when you need to. You can always look back at whatever you've already read for reference as well.

And when you're done, if you like it check out "The Beet Queen." Same author, some of the same characters.
