Question

ok here is the problem i was online yestarday i had just got my computer back from the shop and was online i then downloaded this file but when it was done downloading my computer kept telling me it was a virus and now every time i go on that profile in my computer i get pop ups and more and more pop ups and the computer seems to run slower. im not no computer fix it guy so i really dont know what it is so if anyone on here knows what the h**l is going on can you fill me in and then tell me how to clean or get rid of it? thank you alll for the answers!....

it seems that you have spyware or adware go to download.com and download spybot search and dystroy and it should help

Download Spybot , download Windows Defender, restart computer, then run Spybot. See what the scan comes up with.

Windows Defender and Spybot are  2 really good Spyware Programs.

Now for Virus Protection  2 programs of virus protection will conflict with each other and will actually cancel out the protection.

Running Spybot and Defender, with EITHER Avast or Avg (great Free virus protection programs ) will keep a computer in good working condition.

go check on google and dl ccleaner its a good virus erasing program and its free so try it

scan your computer with any virus scan you have... if u dont have any get AVG and in the future u should also get spybot to stop  spyware

The web is over-run right now with varieties of the Antivir virus.  There are a lot of bogus websites that have been put up by the Spyware Doctor and Spywarehunter company and some suspect that the virus may in have been manufactured by Spyware Doctor to sell their product.  There are several steps to removing this program.  Most of these websites offer bogus instructions that are useless because the Antivir virus disables System Restore and Task Manager.

The first and most important thing is DO NOT OPEN ANY OTHER SCREEN ACCOUNTS OTHER THAN THE ONE THAT WAS ORIGINALLY INFECTED!  If you open up other screen accounts they will become infected also.  The first step is to go to Internet Settings in your Control Panel and empty out your Temporary Internet Files and Cookie folder.  Then go online and download a program called &quot;Malware Bytes,&quot; it&#039;s an open-source antivirus program.  Malware Bytes will root out most of the Antivir virus components and compromise the virus programs function, but your system still isn&#039;t completely cleaned.  The last step is to delete the XP or Vista user account that is infected, restart your  computer and create a new account for yourself.  

P.S.-Don&#039;t forget to back up any important files before you delete the XP or Vista User Account.

It&#039;s malware, the pop-ups are a ploy to get you to download and buy their software or to hack/infect your computer.

Restore your pc to an earlier time...start, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore...choose a date on the calender before you downloaded the file...wait for pc to automatically restart...it will be like it never happened.
