Question:

Ok...Yahoo Search is officially *Lame* when it comes to Answers now? Or is it just me?

My apologies to all & sundry for asking the Question here.

Someone contacted me in email, a "Jana L", recently. My email program *de-linked* the "reply to this message" link in that email as a security measure.

So it's not a problem, right? Well, I searched my Best Answers manually for the time period she mentioned--she had referenced a question from a year ago. No luck. I tried the Search button. All *It* gives me is A) c**p about "did I spell Jana L correctly, or did I mean Jan a L", & B) about *four* profiles total, all of them from Level One people who *couldn't have* seen the year-old entry, & who *don't allow* email.

I tried to make the search more specific, & Yahoo wouldn't produce results. I tried using the Toolbar to restrict the search to Yahoo Answers & *that* didn't work either.

So, to Jana L--the one who emailed me yesterday--I can't *find* you to contact you & reply to you. I'm sorry. If you see this, reply so I can take this back to email. My apologies.

  1. use the search for questions feature just partial wording may turn it up

  2. Maybe you could add her as a contact and then get through to the specific question through her profile., if she was the one who asked the question. That is pretty lame, they should at least give you the option to contact her somehow, why not go to "help" and tell them in no uncertain terms what the problem is?
