Ok any ideas? please help!?

well i really need to be homeschooled because in my school there are so many people on drugs , in gangs , and many classroom disruptions to prevent learning =[ i am dropping in my grade average.

well do u have any ideas

how to convince my mom ??? in my state u only have to do 4 . 5 hours of school a day =]]]]]]]]]]]

my mom is thinking about it

im in 6th grade and want to home school in 7th on because i'd have a better chance of getting in harvard uni.

if i some how i do get hs i want to volunteer for a pound or something to look good on my application . i want to graduate around 16 -17 so i'd have to work hard. my mom thinks she won't be able to teach but with virtual schools she wouldn't do much. if u do a virtual school...is it any good ? i live in ga if that helps

PLEASE HELP im going to show my mom this to try to convince her..

Well it also depends on whether she has the time or the preparation.  She would have to pass state tests to get qualified.  I have friends that do online schooling and they love it, although some don't like it because you don't have a "normal" school experience.  If your mother is opposed to the first two options, maybe you both should consider moving and switching to a better school.  It's great that you care about your education but don't expect things to happen right away.


  2. Homeschooling is a great option, especially if you are dealing with problems at school. I am from the 70s - 80s era, and am homeschooling my kids right now. My oldest, Caleb, is 19 and just got accepted to Chicago University for Art. Harvard is a very hard school to get into, and generally scholarships do not pay for most of it. You are going to have to get alot of things on your application, such as sports, volunteering, debate, etc. But, if you really are serious, go for it. You probably have a better chance getting into the college you want if you go for homeschooling. Best of Luck! =]

    They just started this year, so perhaps they'll add high school courses before you need them.

    Virtual schools are a great option for many families/students!
