in the military what job does the specials ops have in the military what is their objectives can someone explain to me?

Ahhm, I don't know exactly what Special Operations does, but the other guy who posted must not realize that Special Ops is not the same as Special Forces.

SF do many recon missions and collect intelligence on the enemy, but the majority of missions are called direct action, which basically boils down to killing people.what do you think the military is all about?people make the military seem nicer than it is, regardless of any impression you've ever gotten the main goal is to kill.if you arent killing with your own hands, you are supporting people who ARE killing with their hands.
