Ok car question woot!?

ok I recently bought a 2005 Escape, I'm getting the 4 wheel drive fixed next week, theres something wrong with the ubs breaks. Anyway I might be traveling across Canada from Newfoundland to Elberta. I'm gonna be going over dirt roads because Labrador sucks and they havent got all the roads paved. Anyway is there anything you would do to protect your car from getting damaged from rocks and stuff and what would you do before going on this long trip. and how long do you think its gonna take roughly to get to Alberta. Anyways let me know any suggestions you got for me.

A cross country road trip in a vehicle you just bought?  I say bring enough money to pay the tow truck driver.

probably a bad wheel sensor on the ABS problem and you need running boards and good mud flaps if you want to protect the paint.
