  1. Yes, it does. If you are very careful and eat a lot of protein and brush your teeth constantly, the damage is less, but there is still damage. It doesn't necessarily "rot" your teeth -- but it gives them cavities.

  2. Yes!!  Soda is terrible for your teeth.  Which sucks because it is so good : )

  3. yea it  does just drink water or milk thats what i dooo

  5. Yes it does. The thing is though most people will blame it all on the sugar in pop which isn't the only cause of it. Diet pop can ruin your teeth even though it has no sugar in it. Phosphoric Acid is one of the things in pop besides sugar that ruins your teeth it's in regular and diet pop.

  6. That's what my mom always tells me. It rots bones, too. But I love soda too much to quit.

  7. unfortunately it does however there is gatorade which is even worse for ur teeth

  8. Soda gets to the roots of your teeth and rots them. Coke is the worst followed by mountain dew. Soda is not good for you, is doesnt provide any nutrients. It is really sad, because it tastes so good.

    Phosphoric Acid

The chemicals in soda pop fall under the categories of artificial flavorings, artificial color additives and dyes, acidifying agents, buffering agents, viscosity-producing agents, foaming agents, and preservatives. One of these chemical additives, phosphoric acid, is added to many kinds of soda pop to help keep the carbonated bubbles from going flat. Because good health depends upon our bodies being able to maintain a one-to-one balance between calcium and phosphorus in our systems, calcium is released from our teeth and bones into our bloodstreams to help balance the phosphoric acid in the pop we drink. Eventually the phosphoric acid is excreted, taking with it the released calcium. Thus, a habit of soft drink consumption actually robs our bodies of calcium, leading to a condition known as osteoporosis – soft teeth and weak bones

  9. aside from the obvious like having a lot of sugar, it was shown in a study that drinks, especially coca cola, is the worst of them all; decaying your teeth at a faster rate than battery acid itself.

  10. Yes and it makes you fat. Drink water instead.

  11. It sucks the calcium of of your bones(teeth are bones)  but i don't know if it rots your teeth.  It does discolor them.

  12. it does. i care but theres no way i can quit drinkin it. I have a major mtn. dew addiction

  13. Yes it dose if you don't brush them teeth. So I would brush you teeth if you don't want them to rot.
