Question

Enough -for now- about my opinion of negative players to the game .Who do you think has had a positive effect on pool belive it or not my vote goes to FATS

Never won a tourn not really a good player by top standards but did more to promote the game of pool than anyone I can remember

rem him and willie's matches and the rating they got.people flooded to poolrooms after that

But im rambling again who do you say it would be ?? Thanks guys and Ladies-bout got in trouble!!

Although he's not my favorite player, I think that aside from Fatty, Steve Mizerak had a huge positive effect on the game.  He was just such a huge personality.  He could light up a room.  He did so many videos and his "just showing off" commercials were legendary.  Steve was such a great guy and I'm so sad that I didn't get to meet him before he passed away.  I regret so few things in life except not getting to meet the great people of my lifetime.  What a loss.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

I have to agree with Straight.  Steve could make you laugh at the drop of a hat.....even while he was kicking your proverbial behind.  

That, and he always knew the best places to eat.

Vivian.........once again, here I am with the Texas Tornado, lol..I really like her cuz of her friendly, positive attitude..and she's notta bad sport either...she's good, but not considered up top as Allison, Jeanette, Corr or Kim...but her personality makes her above all...Don't get me wrong, Allison is a nice lady..but when I met them *except for Kim*..Viv was super :)......DreO

Remember seeing the matches on TV between Fats and Willie....you are right it drove people to the halls afterwards......I think any and all current TV pool is helping the game as well....but I guess I will just have to be a "sexist" and just say that I think all of the just so beautiful women has me watching and think that it promotes it quite a bit.....with the #1 person being the "Black Widow".....Jeanette is I  really think the best promoter for pool  on TV today!
