meh, Y!A has a character limit so you'd be best served by taking the initiative to Google this. Most 501st members actually buy their suits but there are a lot of good resources that you will easily find on how to make a suit.

making s suit - a good looking suit - takes a lot of time, money and energy. The expense of buying it is a lot lower than making it unless you are going to mass produce suits and sell them.
