please help. I want to clubbing this Friday night and am 25 years old but wondering what kind of ID I need. I don't know which nightclub we are going to as yet but I don't have a driving license and don't want to take my passport with me. What can i take instead incase I get asked for proof of age?are photocopies of passports valid. any suggestions on what else is valid?

  1. MOST CLUBS INSIST ON ID with picture so you limited to a driving licence unless you can get one of those "prove-it" ID cards.

    sorry

  2. Just get your baps out and no one will be interested in your ID.

  3. Only passport or license around Leeds anyway! and cant be photo copies because they check if its fake by the shiny ..bits in the background when you turn it towards the light!!

I tried using my college pass as it has my picture and DOB on it, but wasn't allowed. most night clubs have signs on the door stating that the only form of ID they accept is licence or passport! They dont accept Birth certificates because there is no photo ID

  4. Unless you look like a 12 year old you won't get asked for proof of age....

  5. have u got a connexions card? i wouldnt take ur passport i live in london and theres always people going around trying to nick them. you could always just send off for a ID card look it up on the internet x

  6. If you are 25, I really shouldn't worry. I am 24 and dont really look too old for my age, and I havent been ID'd anywhere (and I get pissed in London lots) for about 4 years...

  7. How about your Birth Certificate?
