  1. Try your community paper or church groups....They do those kind of things

  2. First you will need to advertise.  Post fliers in places where allowed, such as your public library, the YWCA, churches, synagogues, grocery stores, and anywhere else you think women will see them.  Also, you could advertise in the paper or via the internet in the classifieds.

Set a date for when you would like to have your first meeting.  Get a head count, and make realistic goals.  How many people would you like?  How many do you think you can attract?

Once you set the date for the first meeting you will need to decide on who will do what. Who will be secretary, treasurer, and chairwoman, if there is in fact to be one.

Another thing you want to keep in mind is if your community already has a social organization of this kind.  if it does you may need to determine the need for a second one based on the population of your community.

Hope this helps a little bit, and good luck!

  3. Ask your minister if you can hire his church hall.

  4. congratulations for you interest in helping others...wish there were more like you.  well, looky...i would start with a core group, say your friends, friends of friends...use your computer to invite people to your first meeting, say your home or your local church..the invitatiion should be brief, but to the point..also a phone number if people cannot attend, but make it interesting that people will not refuse. at the outset, make it a monthly meeting or ask the people in attendance the frequency.  at the first meeting, write the by-laws of the organization.  that would give it a good start. after you see a certain degree of progress, contact your local newspaper to write a freebe about your organization and they will do it...good luck

  5. say its a strip club and that should get your attention

  6. join a group (or start one) in Yahoo groups or at www.meetup.com. Gather up a few people for a get-together and discuss how to structure the club from there.

Alternatively, decide what sort of charity you want to do and go meet some people doing that. Say you want to help homeless animals, go volunteer at a shelter and suggest your club idea there.

  7. I would start with whatever form of central government in your community is--town hall, mayor's office, whatever and ask them "What are the rules and regulations regarding starting a service organizations?"  Another place to start might be a legal aid office usually staffed by law students who won't charge anything and perhaps have the tools to research this project.
