i wash my hair every other day cuz i have to. my hair seems to get so oily. my roots look like h**l. why does this happen and is there a shampoo/conditioner out there that will make my hair not be so oily. id like to be able to take a break from washing it one day if i dont have to and i cant because it just looks too gross. also anything i can do to help my hair grow faster. i cut it and now i want it longer again. its taking too long to grow back.its been awhile

  1. You have to wash your hair everyday, if your hair get's oily fast...Don't wash it every other day...Paul Mitchel Tea Tree is good for oily hair.

  2. USE THIS SHAMPOO... its formulated for oily hair and you can get it a any drugstore

& also, during the day, if your hair starts to feel greasy again, use a DRY SHAMPOO. You can use it wherever your at, like at work or school,..heres a list of them you can get a sephora...

    http://www.sephora.com/browse/section.jh...

(you can use baby powder too, but i personally think it doesnt work as well as dry shampoos, its cheaper tho.)

and dont touch your hair too much it just makes it even oilier!

  3. You need salon quality products! I agree with the person above me, Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner is good for oily hair and the general health of your scalp. I really like Matrix products, especially the Biolage line. Don't over style or use too much product on your hair either. It's fine to wash your hair everyday- rinse the conditioner out with cold water, it will help with oil and frizz.
