Here's the deal- I have a netgear wireless router which was always used for internet via cable. I have moved and now have AT&T DSL. The internet works perfectly when connected direct to my computer..But the cords, I can't stand which brings me to my problem. When I plug the ethernet cord into my router, the internet light shows but I can't get online...in reading, I think it has to be reconfigured...I have "re-set" the router...no luck. AT&T tells me to call Netgear who won't help because I have had it "too long". Any ideas??? I know this can't be THAT hard...just need a little guidance-

Bless the person who can give me freedom from these cords!!!!

  1. DSL and cable modem should not make a difference at all.  Now that you have reset your router does your wireless connection on your computer need to be reconfigured?  As in did you have some security configured in the adapter and now resetting the router took it off the router?  See if you can use the option to "find wireless networks" and connect that way.
