make a new product. if can i do that and be knows as the creator of it. and else can i get the patent of the new invent? it is the possible or no

  1. It depends on the invention.  the law states that anyone who creates a "non-obvious" invention from two pre-existing inventions is still entitled to a patent.  The key is that combining them must not be obvious (which is really a judgement call).  For example, attaching a printer to a coffee-maker to output data on the brewing process uses two old inventions but it not really an obvious invention so it may be granted a patent.  On the other hand, adding a coffee grinder to a coffee machine would be obvious since they are commonly used together.


  2. You can get a patent for an improvement of an existing invention. Depending on to what extent your the actual use of your invention depends on features claimed in previous inventions, you might have to get licenses for other patent owners to use your invention, or maybe not, depending on what you have changed.

  3. just make it and sell it quickly to get your money before some else fiquires it out.  If you patent it, another person add a third thing and make an even better mousetrap than yours.
