  1. go to ask.com

    key in history of typing

you will get a lot of sites to go to...

  2. The computer doesn't keep a history of what you type. Although you can access a history of websites depending on your web browser. If you forgot your password most sites have some kind of method to have a "reset password" message sent to your email account.

  3. To find out the history of typing the Yahoo search box now also has a thing called the Search Assistant that will show up when you start to type a word.  When this feature opens up it will ask you which of the possible options you want.  One of the listed items will say something like "history of typing" and then you scroll to click on that.  After you click on that it will take you straight to the search results with the most relevant information at the top of the search listing.

For the password, in Yahoo Mail (not sure if this is the e-mail program you use but just using it as an example) they will have a section at the sign in page that says, "Forgot password and User ID".  Click on that and it will take you to information on how to retrieve your password.

If that still doesn't work you may need to ask a Yahoo Mail customer service representative (or representative of your e-mail program) what are the next steps for trying to retrieve the password if the first way (often where they ask a specific question such as about a pet's name) doesn't work.
