Ok how do you open a jammed padlock?

ok well hes stuck on the inside and he unlocked the door but the padlock is jammed so we took the k**b off but the middle piece is broken inside the middle how do we get him out???

Usually it is easier to beat the hardware the lock is hanging on than to beat the padlock.  A hacksaw would do the job.
