Ok how long do you think my hubby will go to jail for?

hi everyone here is the deal

ok so we have a 1 month old and a 17 month old and my husband actually shook my child it wasnt very hard but it was enough to do some damage she is at childrens now he has a clean record and he got mad and frusterated i know dont start on it i am mad enough as it is but he lied about the story and coverd it up with another one in which i covered for him on the made up story because i didnt want him to go to jail well he finally confesed and the officer who is a ***** called the distract atorney and the DA said that he will be going for child abuse and that since its his first time he would probbly get probation and maybe a month or two in jail by the way his bond is 1000 dollars since its his first time what do you think his sentce would be he is a great father he just got frusterated i tihnk they are mad at the fact that he lied about it well please no rude answers i am mad but i was just wondering what would be a idea thanks and god bless to everyone and sorry for the puncuation and things my hands are shaking way to much to even think about pucuation and grammer

if he shook one of MY children and did damage he wouldnt be allowed near them, whether or not he was frustrated it shouldnt of happened. if he can do that to a innocent baby imagine what he would do to someone who really made him mad.

Sounds like your sticking up for him on this end!  Sry but i hope he rots in jail!  Its a shame that your not telling the truth ,,,, He needs to go to jail! whats wrong with you really!! i mean come on now if anyone ever hurt my children I'd be the one who'd kill em!  Your child is living in foster care and u are protecting him! Both your children should be taken away from u both!  Once an abuser always an abuser!!

Sorry to say, it is probably best he spend some time in jail.  Child shaking has been known to cause major problems, including death itself.  It is better to have him learn the lesson this way, instead of thinking he can get away with it again and spend a lot more than one month in prison.  I know this isn't the answer you are looking for, but in time, you will see it as the best thing that could of happened.  He obviously has anger management issues.  I am a father and I get extremely frustrated with my screaming baby, but there is no excuse for what he did.  I understand you love the man, but you have a major responsibility to protect your kids from all harm.  Right now, your husband is a serious threat to their health and your first priority must be them.

Probably only a few months and when he gets out he won't be allowed around the children until he completes whatever programs they tell him to take. If he violates those terms then he will go to jail for ALLOT longer (years)

Personally I think YOU should go to jail as well for lying to the police over this. If that man is capable of shaking a baby now what do you think is going to happen later? Do you think raising kids gets easier as they grow up... somehow less stressful? Your husband NEEDS to go to jail and NEEDS the counseling more then you need his paycheck.

No offence, but maybe a month or so in jail and a couple of probation wouldn't do him any harm. Shaking babies is very wrong and can cause brain damage, even death! He needs to realize how wrong he was.

In the cop's defense, the cop had to do that being a child got hurt.  It was his duty to do it.  So no more blaming the cop for this.

i have a little boy, ive been mad as anyone can get, but i would never do nothing like this.

1. he should have his a** kicked till his nose bleeds.

2. go to prison. have his a** kicked there.

3. never be allowed around any child again.
