  1. the average would be 0.5. all yu have to do is

    Add the numbers up.

    Count the amount of numbers.

    Divide the sum by the amount of numbers.

  2. The average of any group of numbers is the sum of those numbers divided by the total count of numbers. I.e. the sum of -2+-3+1+-4 divided by 4

    If the negative is throwing you off, try looking at it this way

    -1*(2+3+4) +1

    =-1(9)+1

    =-9+1                  or =1-9

    =-8

    So the sum is -8. Now divide this by 4

    -8/4= -2

    -2 is the average number.

  3. add them all up and divide by 4

  4. -2

  5. I'm 55 so my maths is a bit rusty but if you add the three minuses together factor in the positive the answer is 8 devide by 4 = minus 2

  6. add them up.

    -2+-3+1+-4 = -8

    divide by 4

    -8/4 = -2

    The answer is -2.

  7. Like Troy H. said, you add them all up and divide them by four getting -2. You're not an idiot. Negatives confuse people, especially when you have to add/subtract/multiply/divide them.

  8. the answer is -2 degrees try using a scientific calculator to find the answer next time.

  9. Yea..

    I don;t know how to add negative numbers.

    XD!

  10. (-2)+(-3)+1+(-4) --->add all of them

    = -2-3+1-4

    = -8

    -8/4 ---->divide by 4

    -2 ---> final answer
