  1. there are now two styles of frames. when i skated we had the frames that have 4 wheels, some kids would take out the inner two wheels to avoid catching the wheel and falling when grinding. this turned into a frame that has one big h block where those two wheels were. these make it a lot easier to grind. i prefer 4 wheel frames because skating on your front and back wheels feels weird to me. if you already have skates just take the two inner wheels out and try a few grinds, if you like it , consider getting a frame that accomidates the big h block.

if you skate a lot of vert you may want to go for the four wheels. if you like street and more unconventional grinds get the two wheeled frames.

companies? 50/50 has been around forever, everyone likes them because they slide brilliantly.they also look great on any skate.

you shouldnt pay too much attention to what frames to buy, a good skater will make it work regardless and when your learning, you want to get good at solving the problem at hand and being innovative enough to make it work. go to the skate park and ask some skaters if you can try a few grinds on theire skates, ask them about theire frmes and see what you like best. this way you can experience it without having to shovel out loads of money until you find the right frame.

  2. kizer suspension frames with anti rockers
