Ok i got a lip piercing(labret) ring on sunday.........?

ok i got a lip piercing(labret) ring on sunday and i didnt like the spot i got it in so on Wednesday i took it out and i want to know the cons of me gettin it 5mm next to the old one 2 weeks from now? and the hole is closed already.

The cons? Well i guess its a waste of money like the other person said, although the scar shouldnt be too noticeable...other than that i cant see any cons at all...you wont be going through scar tissue so it wont hurt anymore...you'll be getting it in a better placement...Nope no cons, i can only think of plusses.

Always make sure you check the placement before getting pierced. Your artist can adjust it then or explain why they can't. We try to place oral piercings where they have the least chance of damaging teeth and gums. Sometimes the placement can be changed with out increasing the risk, sometimes it can't. Ask your artist when you go back in about the placement, they may be able to change it. I would personally give it about 4 weeks before attempting to re-pierce, but if you heal quickly it should be  ok.

Except from being a waste of money, the only other affect it could have is leaving a scar which ends up looking like a massive blackhead on your face.. But it should be okay. :)
