  1. i would put them both in at the same time so it's neither one's territory-I have one of each and they do chase each other quite a bit sometimes but it really depends on their personalities-some individuals are more aggressive than others. mine have never harmed each other but if it happened too often I would take one out to prevent too much stress.

  2. Ok Michael G, they aren't too far off.  SOMETIMES Gourami become aggressive, but in terms of the aggression scale, by comparison to numerous other species, you could very well list Gourami as peaceful!

Moonbeams are also sometimes called Moonlight, I think I have an idea what you are talking about though.  Blue as in powder blue which are dwarf types or a true blue which get significantly bigger?  All in all, what really is going to determine this is two things.  What is your tank footprint size, and what gender.  If these are two male types, I think you're going to have issues unless you have at least 3-4 feet of length in the tank.

  3. All gouramis tend to be really peaceful. You should have no issues keeping both fish in the same tank.

  4. from what I've been told and read gourami's are really peaceful fish. You should have no problem with them
