Ok i have another question for the plane ride!?

hi everyone again

im flying july 12

im staying inside the u.s

ok

i know how the 3-1-1 deal works

but im staying on vacay for 8 days

and i will need soap and shampoo and stuff like that

the 3-1-1,does that only count for carry on

what im saying is can you bring bigger bottles of liquids in your suitcase or can you only have 3 oz. or less like for the carry on?

The 3-1-1 rule only applies to items you are carrying onto the plane.  For me this would mean my hand sanitizer and chapstick or lip balm.  You can bring the big bottles in your checked luggage.

Yes, you can pack bigger bottles of shampoo, hairspray, what-have-you, in your checked luggage.  Better check with your airline, though, about how many bags you can check and how big/heavy they can be.  You don't want to find yourself at the airport with a bag you cant bring along, or worse, have to pay an extr $100 bucks to take it with you!

In your suitcase you can have more than 3 oz.

In your carry on it has to be 3oz. or less.
