Ok i just bought a rabbit?

Question

I heard from my friend that broken pieces of glass is good bedding and they love it

and i heard from another that hay is good for bedding

i tried both of them out when i put the rabbit in the hay she liked it

but for some reason i put her in the glass the rabbit started bleeding and ran out

is she sick or something?

GLASS????.... ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!! How would YOU like to sleep on broken glass and ofcourse it will bleed any one would bleed. This is CRAZY. and it is ANIMAL ABUSE. i would suggest that you dont keep any pet at all if that is how you would treat it especially a bunny. give it to some one who KNOWS how to treat animals. Wow. If you're serious you are a total idiot. You're one of those people that need to be slapped. "but for some reason it started bleeding." DUH!!! Glass isn't soft. That rabbit should be taken away from you. I sure hope you don't have children. Next time look into the animal you get before you get it.

considering your not serious I don't want to make a big deal. but don't use hay, woodchips, or paper as bedding. you need carefresh or they have huge bags of cheap GOOD bedding that won't harm your bunny. bunnies take alot of work.

about the glass... are you serious! Not good..\

Best is hay or straw inside a small box... makes them feel like in a burrow.  Drill holes in the bottom of the cage to let pee out and they'll stay drier.  

Rabbit turds... save them and give them to the guy who told you about the glass and tell them they are chocolate glossettes
