enter and it says SYSTEM 5 ERROR HAS OCCURED ACESS DENIED im not an admin so dont say run as admin.

  1. Yes, you cannot run an admin command from the command prompt if you are not an administrator or has an administrative rights to that computer. Thus, since you are not an admin, the error persists. There is nothing you really could do to change the admin password.

    This is a security feature of Windows XP systems, which purportedly protects the system from non-administrator to change the administrator's password, which could wreck havoc on the entire computer settings, and make the computer inaccessible.

    Contact the admin of that computer instead.
