The first thing you must remember is: Bring all your pieces to the center, and try to control the four most central boxes. If your pieces are in the center, you'll be powerful because fom the centre, you can move anywhere. There are five simple moves to open a game:

#1: Bring out your two middle pawns

#2: Bring out your knights; move them towards the center

#3: Do the same with your bishops

#4: Bring your queen out, but don't bring her out too much towards the center (she'll get killed easily)

#4: Castle with one of your rooks

#5: Bring your two rooks together

i would advise moving one of the pawns that allows a bishop to come out. i love bishops, theyre one of my favourite pieces, move the one that may take out the queen, depending on what colour square its on. use castles around your king, so the opponent cant attack him from any direction. when youre in check, dont move the king just yet, look for ways to eliminate the checking piece
