  1. thats not supposed to happen get her to the dr

  2. Holy ****!  I have a 7 year old daughter and I can't imagine her getting her period now! Take her to the doctor.  This is not normal.

  3. To the people who answered: ARE YOU KIDDING!? This is NOT normal, by any means. Starting a period early because of growth hormones in food is normal but not a 7!

Starting puberty at such a young age is called Precocious  Puberty. You child needs to see a doctor and take hormone blocking medication.

  4. see your  doctor - a friend of mine's daughter got hers at 8 and the pediatrician said it was b/c she drank non organic milk - too many hormones in the milk that she was drinking etc.   She might need medication to regulate her body back to where it should be.  it is what it is at this point, but get her the medical attention she needs considering her age.

  5. Explain to her all the changes a girl goes through to become a woman. Tell her that everything is normal, nothing is wrong and she doesn't have a disease. My daughter who is almost 8 started hers a month ago. She came running down the stairs screaming that she had a disease and needed to be rushed to the hospital. I had to sit her down ( I gave her ice cream to bribe her into what I was telling her...!!)  and quietly discuss the matter with her. I consulted her doctor and  they examined her and told me she was perfectly fine- a bit early, but perfectly fine.

So basically, teach her how to properly use a tampon or a pad, what it means to have her period, why she has her period, and comfort her and be there for your little woman.

  6. Ok don;t panic-some do get it early and then it stops for couple years. Windy, BTW, it is normal. My mom told me it happened to her but it stopped and got it back at 12.  However, to rule out any rpoblems You must take her to a doctor ASAP. Good luck!

  7. Everything else everyone is said BUT this is obvious, don't give her tampons until she is at least a teen, and I'd tell her grade teacher incase she gets period pains etc.

  8. 7 ?!! i would take her to the doc and have her checked out if it were my daughter. could be she just started early but i would go to the doc.

  9. a lot of girls are getting it earlier because of the fat content of what we eat.  this is telling their bodies they are ready to be mature when they are not.

but 7 seems WAY early.  go to the Dr., or call them tomorrow morning.

i woke up when i was 9 and saw blood in my panties and was scared...didn't know what to do...can't imagine being 7

  10. consult the doctor to rule out any problems to why it is happening so early. It may be an imbalnce that they can fix.

  11. I would take her in for a check-up with the pediatrician or family doctor if I were you.  They need to rule out any adrenal or pituitary gland disorders.  Age 7 is quite early for menstruation, but not unheard of.

  12. There is nothing you can do. She just got it early. I supose it's fine. If your really worried talk to the doctor. I hope this helped.

  13. You need to get her to the doctor's.  That is not normal.  She is producing too much estrogen at an early age--which is not good.
