  1. He needs to follow up by giving them the rest of his prescriptions so they will know what is turning up in his blood.

If he can produce prescriptions and the concentration in his blood is consistent with an appropriate dose, then he should be ok. If he has been abusing these substances and over using them then that will be evident by the concentration they have found in his blood.

  2. The ONLY thing, besides the Adderall, that will show up as an amphetamine is the pseudophedrine, also found in the Tylenol Severe Cold, as it is a very potent and effective stimulant. Pseudophedrine is the chemical compound that is isolated from over-the-counter cold and decongestant medications to produce illegal methamphetamines. Hence the reason you must now show your identification and sign a federal log to obtain it.

    For reassurance:

    Trazadone, diclofenac--muscle relaxers

    Omeprazole--Anti-heartburn

    Relpax--for migraines and chronic headaches

None of these contain a stimulant, therefore, would not show up as an amphetamine.

  3. Take the prescriptions with him for the test, in the original containers, current date etc.. and you will be fine, as long as they are prescribed by a doctor and not bought by some thug off the street.. God Bless you husband for being in the Army and defending our freedom..

  4. yes the adderral will show up as amphet.

tylenol severe cold MIGHT since it might have dexa something im not sure but an ingrediant used to make meth, im not sure what the others are other than trazedone, a sleeping med and im not sure if that will show up.

  5. I come up positive for PCP every time I take a drug test. All I have ever had to do is show them my prescription bottle. You can not be penalized for prescription drugs. So is he has done nothing illegal don't worry about it.

  6. Failing a drug test is for use of illegal drugs. If the military Doctor says his meds cannot cause a failure for amphetamines then perhaps he is taking that illegal drug.
