  1. oh. thats too bad. u should probably ask soemone how to fix that

  2. Sounds like a sensor / software problem, and unfortunately will require service. It cannot be the lens, as no lens malfunction I know of would cause such results. Take it to your local camera shop, drop it off and have them look at it + give you an estimate to fix. You may find in the long run it'll be cheaper to buy a new camera.

Sorry to hear 'bout your camera, but if you decide on getting a new one, may I suggest the Cannon S5 IS. This is a spectacular P+S digicam, with lots of great features ( even an accessory hot shoe for flash ) and you can find it for less than $300 just about anywhere.

the glitch seems to be technical, like bad connection or wiring internal, you could try changing batteries if low and try again, also if you have compressed air to try cleaning or small vacuum, as well try photos with other modes and settings,

    pg 163,

◬ Request regular internal testing and cleaning for your camera.

Build-up of dust in your camera can cause a fire or electric shock.

    • Contact your FUJIFILM dealer to request internal cleaning every 2 years.

    • Please note this is not a free of charge service.
