  1. Usually a hockey skate is two sizes less. I'm a size 11 1/2 and I'm wearing around a 9 or 9 1/2.

  2. I would suggest going to your local ice skating pro shop to be fitted for skates. They can also help you with picking out the best pair of skates. I wouldn't suggest buying your skates online because the size of skates needed changes with the brand and model of skate. Good luck!

  3. go to your local hockey shop to see what skates feel best.. DONT BY THEM THERE..

    go home and go to

    www.greatskate.com

    www.epuck.com

    www.hockeymonkey.com

    www.hockeygiant.com

and buy them. they will be at least 20% off online. do not buy skates that before sale discount are less than $200.

I have ccm 852 that at the time were a year old and originally $370 or so and I got them for $145 on hockey monkey. but make sure you know exactly what brand, style, and size you need before you look them up
