There is a Hurricane (Gustav) coming in to the Gulf - but by Sunday the National Hurricane Center shows it will be in the dead center of the Gulf of Mexico - it'll give great surf during your trip, but if you're leaving by Monday it shouldn't cause a problem for you as it will probably take until Wednesday or Thursday before it hits any land, and even then it may hit a thousand miles away from Destin
