Ok i went running earlier,my legs are sore above my knees and shins?

i havent ran for a long time,if im really sore in the morning will it be safe to run again???Or will it rip my muscles open

  1. I run twice a week and I think you should rest tomorrow.  Also, since it's been a while since you ran, you ought to try the run/walk way (run a half mile, walk a half mile) until your body become readjusted to running.  And make sure you strecth before and after your run.
