Ok im getting my braces in 2 days and i need help ?

ok well I'm getting braces and i want to no what color would be pretty and if it hurts i also haft to get an expander but i don't haft to crank it luckily lol well i just am really scared so ppl with braces please help thx

You can get any color you want for the braces. They have pretty much everything. Although sometimes you can't pick your color because they have to "figure-eight" the bands and that type of band usually only comes in gray. But other than that you can pick any color. And if you teeth are already pretty good, then you will have some pain, but not much. If you teeth are really bad, then you will have a lot of pain. It all depends on how bad your teeth are. Luckily I have a pretty good orthodontist. He even called my house after I got my braces to see how I was doing.

Anyways, good luck with getting your braces! Hope it doesn't hurt too bad! If not, Tylenol will indeed become your best friend.

I've had braces for just over 10 months now, and they took about 30 minutes to be put on top and bottom. When you first have them put them on, they hurt for about a week and it's hard to eat anything except soft food! :( Tightening only hurts me for about a day or so, then i'm fine.

It's totally worth all the hassle though. I'm so glad I got them. My teeth are so nice now!

As for colours, I had white for the first few months, then started changing them every appointment. I usually have pastel colours. Don't go for the bold and in-your-face ones.. because it makes your braces very noticeable and edgy. Go for subte colours.

any color should be fine as long as they don't clash with your skin tone. most of the time, all colors look great. OMG, i've had an expander too, it really sucks the first week or so, but then it's like it's part of your mouth. try hard to endure it. i'm getting my braces off next week, i can't wait!

having braces hasn't exactly been a painless experience, but trust me, it'll be worth it.

p.s. my idiot orthodontist wouldn't let me have color bands. T_T

The Expander Its Hurts For A Week And Its Hard To Eat Food.

Soo I Would Say Eat Soft Food And Never Chew Gum With The Expander On.
