  1. If you're not old enough to join the military, but you still want to serve your country, try getting a civilian (non-military) job on a base near you, or volunteer for a military event going on in your town.

If you just want to make money though, try getting a regular job at Starbucks or something, or babysit. I don't know how old you are, but talk to your parents about what sort of jobs they might have for you around the house, or what jobs they might know about around town.

Once you're old enough though, join the military. My dad was in the Air Force for 31 years, and we got to live overseas and get a lot of great benefits and everything. It's a great life. :)

  2. If you are not old enough to join the military what do you need money for school for? High school is not exactly pricey. For the guy that posted first the Air Force is not a sense of job such as an easy way out. I can't stand when people say that. In Iraq there is Coast Guard, Army, Marines, Air Force, and Navy troops. I can't stand when someone puts another branch down because they are doing the same stuff they just don't get credit for it a lot because of bad knowledge.

  3. Why not finish high school first, then look at a PELL grant to get you up to a BA/BS degree.  Then you can go into the military as an officer or move on to a higher degree or go to work.

  4. Since you're not old enough, you've just gotta wait it out.  You can join when you're 17, but you need your guardian's permission; that's what I did.

Good luck!  There should be more people like you in this world!

  5. Go for it.The new GI bill will give you $46,000.

While you are in you can go to college also and take college courses at just about every base or fort around the world. These courses are at an extremely reduced rates taught by professionals and transferable.

Also you can learn a high paying skill that will support you when you get out and attend college.

My son joined up and the military is teaching him to be an electronic computer switching engineer. He is half way through the 6 month course. He has an AS equivalent now and the course will push him further as it is worth college credit. He plans to finish his BS in the military and use the money for his masters later.

Go into the electronic and intelligence fields.

  6. I recommend this. Its a great way to recieve money for college and also a good way to recieve training at the same time. Talk to your local recruiter.

  7. There's always another way for that kinda thing (i. e. Police Force, Air Force, etc).
