  1. Yes it is. I know that, because I've been playing since I was 6 (10 years).

I was shooting scores I hadn't shot in 3 years this spring, because I'd let a couple flaws get into my swing. Now I'm back to shooting in the high 70s, low-mid 80s because I've corrected those. My scores have been a little higher recently because I haven't practiced my short game. Practice is a key part in helping your game, and your short game is where you score.

  2. If you are changing your stroke in an effort to get better, yes.   Otherwise, it sounds like you are just going through a slump.  Golf is such a mental game, it could be anything.

  3. yes! beginners slump! happes to everyone! ull grow out of it!

  4. I've been playing for ten years and that still happens to me.

  5. Yeah. When I started and somehow I could hit beautifully with no problems, but then i started worrying and thinking about all the things I have to do right and i started hitting c**p. I don't know if this is the same with you but just forget everything and try to relax. I was doing a school golf club  at my local range and hitting all these balls rubbish trying to do everything right. The last ball I thought "What the  h**l" and hit it about 150 yards. Just  try to relax

  6. Absolutely, I still have those days and weeks where I shoot 10 over my handicap. No worries we all go through it.

  7. I'm not sure but did you switch clubs or something? cuz i got worse til i got used to them.

  8. THERE ARE PLATEAUS  WHICH ONE REACHES IN GOLF THAT ARE HARD TO BREAK. AT TIMES WHEN ONE IS CONSCIOUS OF THE GAME THE RESULTS GET WORSE. THEN A SHOT, A GOOD BREAK OR A GREAT DRIVE BRINGS EVERYTHING BACK INTO PERSPECTIVE AND THE PLATEAU IS CONQUERED.DON'T WORRY FOR YOU WILL GET BACK TO THE NORMAL GAME.

  9. how old r u?

if u practice enough it shouldn't happen.

it could just be ur short game too.

  10. yes it is. i went from shooting 80's to low 70's than had a lesson and struggled to break 90. a lot of the time you have to get worse to get better. thats golf
