ok is this a good deal on drums.. i'm probably going to buy them soon i just need to know if it's a good deal?.

The price sounds about normal. Ignore that $899 regular price c**p, that is total BS. Obviously you won't get a great kit for $300. I generally pay more than that for one cymbal, but these kits are fine for a beginner. You will need better heads when money permits. I didn't notice if it comes with some cymbals, if so they will be c**p, but again fine for a beginner and you can also buy better cymbals down the road. I really don't mean to sound harsh but I've been doing this for many years and I want you to know what to expect out of these sets. They will be fine to learn on but you can't really gig out with them.
