Ok is this weird? I had corrective surgery for lazy eye ...?

at age 11. Now I am 53..far sighted but I use cheaters for reading. When I cover my left eye completely,,I "think" I see double in my right eye. Is this even possible? If not,whats up ??

    Yes this is possible, it is called polyopia, or monocular diplopia.

    I don't think it is due to your surgery (but could be wrong), from memory it can be caused by lens changes among other things. This translates to a cataract, however before you stress out, 99% of people will get a cataract, so it is nothing too serious.

    Even so, i would very strongly recommend you should go to an optometrist an explain your symptoms, they can have a detailed look at your eye, and help find the cause of your double vision.
