well im black and japanese so idk.

buh when iget outta the shower i put

gel in the hair and put it into like 4-6

braids and put a doo rag on and sleep

the poof waves... kindah. lol.

sometimes it gets really frizzy... buh yeahh.  =]]

Your hair texture is probably different bc your of a mixed race. But all you need is hair grease, water, a wave brush and a wave cap.
