Ok me and my boyfriend both have cordless phones..we live about 5 miles apart and i think he listens to my?

conversations ....for instance....if we are on the phone together and my phone beeps i click over and i think he hears my calls because he throws hints like he knew what i was talking about...when i click over is there some kind of *____ number that he can do to listen to me talk on the other line

No way, he cannot hear the conversation 5 miles apart .

IMpossible..!!  The average cordless phone will not go over 1 block if you are that lucky.!!! Mine only goes through 2 rooms due to electrical wiring and metal in the house. There is no number to listen on your line.!!

From 5 miles apart he can not be listening in through the cordless phone.  The FCC limits the transmit power of cordless phone to 1000 feet.  This may be longer under ideal conditions - but not by much.  No way it will transmit 5 miles.
