Ok my boyfriends son has missed 16 days of school all ready only goes 3 days a week gets him everyother weeken

he only gets them every other weekend what can he do wants to see if courts will give him to him but dont know what to do or how to ask

sometimes the teen will not understand right away, try calming explaining, yelling will make it so much worse.  Yelling will only make him get him defensive and angry. It is better to show concern.

Also, this is your boyfriends son, you would not want the teen thinking you are trying to become his mother. Unless your living there & history

If a child misses a certain number of days the parents could get in allot of trouble. Child Protective Services could get called. If he is missing that much school your boyfriend could go into court and try getting custody of his kids. Try going to family court and see what they have to say about it.
