  1. Usually it's 6 weeks for vaginal birth and 8 weeks for c-section.

If you stop working for a medical reason, that might be covered, not completely sure.

  2. http://onlyforyou.adores.it

you can get much information in this website, If you will check anyone blue link in website.

  3. I was put on bed rest two weeks ago (when I was at 36 weeks) and it was being covered separately from the 6-8 for the birth as I was under my OB's orders. Best to talk to the disability provider...my doctor filled the paperwork out for me, I didn't have to do it, maybe ask yours to do the same or at least walk you through it. Hope this helps some!

  4. I did this at 26 weeks because of pre term labor.  I received disability up until the baby was born, but then received Paid Family Leave (which ties into CA state disability) for the full 6 weeks they will pay for you to bond with your baby.  I'm in Santa Monica.  Hope you're feeling well and congratulations on your pregnancy!!!

I saw someone mentioned FMLA- FMLA does not pay any benefits, what it does is secures your job and wages for 12 weeks- that's it.

  5. depending on the size of your employer your are eligible of up to 12 weeks of disability through FMLA.  Your state may have a longer period of time.  It can also cover reduced hours at work if there is a medical reason.  If you type in FMLA in your search engine you can find out all you want to know and information specific to your state.

FMLA = Family Medical Leave Act ( I think)
