But to answer the question, just ignore him. You can't do much about it other than be the bigger person. He'll look like an idiot to anyone intelligent. I don't put much stock in negative things a person says about their ex because...well they are their ex.

Okay, so what's the point!  You know that you are not and he has nothing better to do is to talk about you because you are over him and he is not over you so he rather talk bad about you.  Confront him and let him know that he is pathetic and that you have no time for childish nonsense and that you are looking for a man and the good thing you got out before it was too late.  let him know that when he grows up he will then get your attention if your not busy.  You have to stop worrying about what people say about you.  The only reason why people talk about others is because they are jealous of that person and they are missing something in their life.  Let him talk he is the biggest dumb ***** for dumping you, you are worth it and you deserve better than he could ever offer.
