But you can also find out what make and model your laptop is and contact the manufacturer. If they don't have a replacement in stock, they will give you a few phone numbers from their "partners" and these guys should have it.

Just note that sometimes, repairing or replacing a shattered screen might cost you more than a brand new laptop.

You can also try to find what screen model your laptop uses (the guys you'll speak to when quoting prices should tell you). Then, go to ebay and try to find the same one, for a much cheaper price. And then you take the laptop and the screen to a specialist and they will charge you a few quid to replace it for you.
